The Washington Post’s Sunday Source (although it’s not yet Sunday) brings me news of an all-female comic reading group that meets at Big Monkey Comics. The group, which focuses on superhero comics, started in May.
I typically work Wednesday nights so I’m out of luck in joining in. That, and I don’t really read too many superhero comics (due to laziness — it’s hard enough for me to buy groceries on a regular basis, never mind comic books) but I think it’s awesome this is going on nearby.
