I don’t know what she’s like now, but yeah, I’m surprised she just didn’t disappear after a while. But maybe she has more depth or something now and is less silly than she was.

The early stories are fun, though, and if you can find the Essential collections for cheap, they’re a worth a read.

It just didn’t seem to me like she could have lasted so long, but someone in editorial must have a soft spot for her. Either that or maybe there really was something to it, somehow. I’ll have to pick up the book at some point (I’ve seen it for cheap enough that it’s worth a shot.)
